System In Term Of Chemistry

What is system in term of chemistry?
The system is the specific part of the universe in which you are interested.
What’s about surrounding and boundary?
Surrounding is the things that are outside the system and boundary is the surface that encloses the system.

How many kinds of system do we have?
1)Open  system                 :

It is the system that has mass transfer with the environment but it still has energy transfer.
It does not mean that it is in open container

2)Closed system               :

It is the system that does not have mass transfer with the environment it still has energy
transfer. It does not mean that it is in open container.

3)Adiabatic system           :

It is the system that is thermally insulated from its surrounding.

4)Isolated system              :

It is the system that does not allow both energy and mass transfer to occur.

Characteristics
1)Homogeneous system is the system that has 2 phases of substances in it.
2)Heterogeneous system is the system that has only 1 phase of substance in it.

  1. めっちゃすごいね❗️含量は分かりやすいだから、一度だけ読んでは全て含量が分かる❗️

    1. An adiabatic process is a process where the net heat transfer to the working gas is zero. An isolated system is a system that is completely shut off from the surroundings.
